National Curriculum

St. John Rigby staff and governors believe that the school should provide a broad and balanced curriculum with a clear focus upon literacy and numeracy.  We aim to provide a curriculum which will develop the whole child with Christ at the centre of all learning.  The National Curriculum is delivered in Key Stages with a separate early years provision to deliver the Foundation Stage Curriculum.

As a Catholic school, Religious Education is at the centre of our curriculum.

The National Curriculum consists of three core subjects:
