WELCOME TO EARLY YEARS

EARLY YEARS ASSEMBLY TO WELCOME OUR NEW SHINING STARS

Parents, pupils, teachers and friends gathered together in our Main Hall on Friday morning (15th Sep) as we welcomed our new Early Years pupils who will join us over the course of the next week.

Year 4 led us with the hymn "One More Step" which reminded us all that we are marking the start of an exciting learning journey. Pupils and parents were introduced to their teachers and support staff who read poetry and scripture. The message of these readings was clearly one of hope and celebration of the adventure that our new pupils are about to embark upon.

Each of our new pupils was invited up to place a star containing their name on our hall window. These stars will stay there for most of this term as a reminder of all of those new little ones who are now welcomed into our community. It was lovely to see many children posing for photos next to our window after the assembly. Later on in the day, the rest of the school community met for Friday celebration assembly where we turned and faced our window as we prayed for all of our new arrivals.
