My name is Maxine Clewlow and I have been Headteacher at St John Rigby since September 2004.  Along with my knowledge of education I have a passion for Art and look forward to many years working with staff, pupils, parents and governors.  I aim to build a school which will achieve the highest standards, provide an education within a stimulating and creative environment and above all give your child a religious foundation to take with them in life.

As a Christian Community our school life is based upon the Gospels and the teaching of the Catholic Church.  Every pupil is considered unique and made in the image of God.  As such we pride ourselves in the care we can offer your child and equal opportunity is given to all pupils to develop their talents to the full.

At St John Rigby we are committed to excellence and all strive to work with parents to provide a rich and exciting learning environment for your child.  Children are encouraged to achieve the highest standards both in their work and in their conduct with an emphasis upon building relationships within our community.
