Keeping Children Safe in a Digital World

E-safety talk for Parents by Beds Police 'Keeping Children Safe in the Digital World'

Roger Williams and Paul, two community support officers from Bedfordshire Police, came into school this morning to deliver a presentation to parents on 'Keeping Children Safe In The Digital World.'

The presentation talked about E-Safety and the protection of children, whilst they are using the internet, and digital technologies.  This included subjects such as: risk-taking and inappropriate behaviour by children and young people; gaming apps, social media apps/websites, the content of some popular games, illegal activity and more serious topics such as child grooming.

The presentation was very well received with around 50 parents attending.   Many parents commented on how useful the content and information was.

Thank you to all those who attended and a special thank you to Roger and Paul.
